What will the care actually cost?

Ask for an estimate that puts the visit and the medicine on the same page. Then ask what changes after any opening offer.

A drug’s list price, cash price, discount price and insured payment are different figures.

List price means the maker’s published price. Self-pay means paying cash outside insurance. Strength means how much of the working ingredient a product contains. The label uses mg, short for milligrams, to measure that amount.

What goes on the written estimate?

Ask which parts are included, which are separate, and when each charge repeats.

  • Visit: what does the first assessment cost, and what would a follow-up cost?

  • Medicine: which product, pill or shot, and length of supply does the price cover?

  • Tests: which tests are proposed, and what will the separate bill be?

  • Delivery: is it included, and how is a replacement handled?

  • Repeat charges: is there a membership, renewal or minimum commitment?

  • Ending the plan: how do cancellation and refunds work?

Will cash spending count toward insurance costs?

The September 2026 Ozempic self-pay offer has two limits for people with insurance. You cannot ask your insurer to pay you back for the medicine. The cash spending does not help meet your deductible. That is the amount you must pay before some insurance benefits begin.

Ask your plan which payment terms apply before choosing the cash offer.

What happens when an offer ends?

The terms for several weight-loss cash offers and savings cards expire December 31, 2026; that is the date shown in September 2026 records.

Get the later price in writing. Ask which price applies to the next supply. The first price may not repeat.
